Marinade
- 500 g Chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoon Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon Ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
- 1 cup Plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
Sandwich
- 4 pieces Pita bread
- 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup Cucumber, sliced
- 0.5 cup Red onion, thinly sliced
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, salt, black pepper, yogurt, and lemon juice.
Add the chicken slices to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
Warm the pita bread in a separate pan or microwave.
Assemble the sandwiches by placing the cooked chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion inside the pita bread.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
