Filling
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ¼ cup Green Olives, chopped
- ¼ cup Raisins
- 12 Empanada Discs store-bought or homemade
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent.
Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and mix in chopped green olives and raisins. Let filling cool.
Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each empanada disc. Fold and seal edges with a fork.
Place empanadas on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
