Beef and Barley Soup Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef stew meat cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup Pearl barley
- 1 Onion chopped
- 3 Carrots chopped
- 2 Celery stalks chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 8 cups Beef broth
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon Dried rosemary
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef and cook until browned. 
- 2. Add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are softened. 
- 3. Stir in beef broth, barley, thyme, and rosemary. Bring to a boil. 
- 4. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, or until barley is tender. 
- 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
