Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Shredded Cabbage
- 1 cup Shredded Carrots
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 12 pieces Egg Roll Wrappers
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying
1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Remove the skillet from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
4. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly. Seal the edges with a bit of water.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
6. Remove the egg rolls from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
