Beef on Weck Recipe
A classic Buffalo, New York sandwich featuring roast beef on a kummelweck roll.

Main Ingredients
- 2 lb Beef roast preferably top round
- 4 Kummelweck rolls
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Horseradish prepared
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
Place the roast in a roasting pan and cook for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing thinly.
Warm the beef broth in a small saucepan.
Dip the sliced beef in the warm broth before placing it on the kummelweck rolls.
Spread horseradish on the top half of each roll, if desired.
Serve immediately.
