Dough
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Milk warm
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoon Yeast active dry
- 2 tablespoon Butter melted
Filling
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Oil
1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
3. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.
4. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is browned. Remove from heat and let it cool.
5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Divide the dough into small balls, roll them out, and fill with beef mixture. Pinch edges to seal.
6. Place pirozhki on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
