  • 2 lbs Beef Shank cut into chunks
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 Carrots sliced
  • 2 Celery Stalks sliced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 Potatoes diced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Rosemary

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the beef shank chunks over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  3. 3. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Add the carrots, celery, potatoes, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  5. 5. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  6. 6. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
