Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 12 pieces Corn tortillas
- 1 cup Shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying
1. Cook the ground beef in a frying pan over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
2. Add salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to the beef. Stir well.
3. Warm the corn tortillas in the microwave for about 30 seconds to make them pliable.
4. Place a small amount of beef and shredded cheese in the center of each tortilla. Roll tightly.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the taquitos until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
6. Remove taquitos from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
