1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour and yeast.
2. Add warm milk, sugar, melted butter, salt, and egg. Beat until smooth.
3. Stir in remaining flour to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth and elastic.
4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
5. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is no longer pink. Drain.
6. Add cabbage, salt, and pepper. Cook until cabbage is tender. Cool slightly.
7. Punch down dough and divide into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a circle.
8. Place filling in the center of each circle. Fold dough over filling and pinch edges to seal.
9. Place on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
10. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
