Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Fish (such as tilapia or catfish) about 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Spice Mix

  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Mix all the spices together in a bowl.
  2. Rub the spice mix evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until blackened and cooked through.
  5. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
