Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 cup Bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Corn kernels
  • 1 lb Crab meat
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion, celery, and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Stir in the corn kernels and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth. Return to the pot.
  7. 7. Stir in the heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, and crab meat. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
