Calamari with Tomato Sauce

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Calamari, cleaned and cut into rings
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 400 g Canned tomatoes, crushed
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- ¼ cup Fresh parsley, chopped
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
Simmer the sauce for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the calamari rings to the sauce and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the calamari is tender.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
