- 2 cups White Rice
- 4 pieces Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 cup Frozen Peas
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
3. Cook chicken in the skillet until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
6. Stir in frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
7. Slice the cooked chicken and place on top of the rice mixture. Serve warm.
