Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts, pounded thin
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 units Eggs, beaten
  • ½ cup Flour
  • 4 units Bolillo rolls, sliced
  • 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
  • 1 unit Tomato, sliced
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 unit Avocado, sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  2. 2. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Spread mayonnaise on each side of the bolillo rolls.
  5. 5. Assemble the tortas with fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, and avocado slices.
  6. 6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
