Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 large Carrots sliced
  • 2 stalks Celery sliced
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 teaspoons Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, add the chicken pieces and cover with water. Bring to a boil and skim off any foam that rises to the top.
  2. 2. Add the carrots, celery, onion, and garlic to the pot. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  3. 3. Season with salt and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  4. 4. Remove the chicken pieces and shred the meat. Return the shredded chicken to the pot and stir to combine.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade chicken soup!
