Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 cups Carrots sliced
  • 2 cups Celery sliced
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 cup Noodles optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. 3. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned.
  4. 4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Add the carrots, celery, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley.
  6. 6. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.
  7. 7. If using noodles, add them in the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  8. 8. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
