Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Pita bread
  • 1 cup Tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup Chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Sliced red onions

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2. Add chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. 4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. 5. Grill the chicken skewers for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
  6. 6. Warm the pita bread on the grill for a minute on each side.
  7. 7. Assemble the gyros by placing chicken, tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on the pita bread.
  8. 8. Fold the pita bread and serve immediately.
