Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1 cup fish stock
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 lb clams, scrubbed
  • 1 lb mussels, scrubbed and debearded
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb firm white fish (like cod), cut into chunks
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and green bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  2. Pour in white wine, bring to a boil, and let it reduce by half.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, fish stock, oregano, and thyme. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Add clams and mussels. Cover and cook until they start to open.
  5. Add shrimp and fish chunks. Simmer until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
