This is a homemade version of the popular Bang Bang Shrimp, crispy and coated in a spicy, creamy sauce.

Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the shrimp in the cornstarch mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the shrimp until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove shrimp from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Toss the fried shrimp in the sauce mixture until well coated.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
