Instructions
1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
3. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for another minute.
4. Pour in the seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
5. Add the crabmeat and Old Bay seasoning, and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth.
7. Return the soup to the pot, stir in the heavy cream, and heat through.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
