Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup kosher salt
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dill optional

Instructions 

  1. Mix salt, sugar, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Rub mixture all over the salmon.
  3. Place salmon on a rack, cover, and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.
  4. Rinse salmon under cold water and pat dry.
  5. Preheat smoker to 225°F.
  6. Smoke salmon for 2 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
