Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 lbs Pork Shoulder
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the pork shoulder on all sides until browned.
  3. Remove the pork and set aside. Add chicken broth to the Dutch oven, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  4. Return the pork to the Dutch oven. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Cover and transfer to the oven. Cook for 4 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  6. Shred the pork with two forks and mix with the juices in the Dutch oven. Serve warm.
