Filling
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ½ cup Green Olives, sliced
- ¼ cup Raisins
Dough
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Butter, chilled and diced
- ⅓ cup Cold Water
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.
Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in olives and raisins. Let the filling cool.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add cold water, mixing until dough forms. Knead briefly on a floured surface.
Roll out dough and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle.
Fold dough over filling and seal edges with a fork. Place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
