Instructions
1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and beer until smooth.
3. Season fish fillets with salt and pepper, then dip into the batter.
4. Fry fish in hot oil until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
5. Fry potatoes in the same oil until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
6. Serve hot with a sprinkle of salt.
