Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Masa Harina
  • 1.5 cups Warm Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine masa harina, warm water, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each into a ball. Flatten each ball into a disk about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little vegetable oil. Cook each gordita for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Once cooked, slice open and fill with your favorite fillings.
