Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Lamb shoulder, diced
  • 200 g Orzo pasta
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 400 g Canned tomatoes
  • 500 ml Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 100 g Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the lamb and cook until browned on all sides.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the canned tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Add the orzo pasta to the pot. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the orzo is cooked and the lamb is tender.
  5. 5. Serve the dish hot, topped with crumbled feta cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
