Hot Brown Recipe
A classic open-faced sandwich originally from Kentucky, featuring turkey, bacon, and a rich Mornay sauce.

Main Ingredients
- 8 slices Turkey Breast cooked
- 8 slices Bacon cooked
- 4 slices White Bread toasted
- 2 cups Milk
- ¼ cup Butter
- ¼ cup All-purpose Flour
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 pinch Salt to taste
- 1 pinch Black Pepper to taste
- 1 pinch Paprika for garnish
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
Place the toasted bread slices in a baking dish. Top each slice with turkey and bacon.
Pour the cheese sauce over the sandwiches. Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and lightly browned.
Serve hot.
