Hungarian Goulash Recipe
A hearty and traditional Hungarian stew made with beef, onions, and paprika.

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 large carrots, sliced
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until softened.
Add the garlic and paprika, and cook for another minute.
Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.
Pour in the beef broth, and add the carrots, potatoes, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
