Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger minced
  • 2 teaspoon Curry Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 400 ml Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 bunch Cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
  4. Add curry powder, turmeric, and cumin. Stir well.
  5. Add chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes and coconut milk. Stir to combine.
  7. Season with salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  8. Stir in garam masala and cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
