Ingredients 

Filling

  • 500 g Ground lamb
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Pastry

  • 8 sheets Phyllo dough
  • 100 g Butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
  3. Add ground lamb, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until lamb is browned and cooked through.
  4. Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough, brush with melted butter. Repeat with three more sheets.
  5. Spread half of the lamb mixture along one edge of the dough. Roll up tightly. Repeat with remaining dough and filling.
  6. Place rolls on a baking tray, brush with remaining butter. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
