Gyros Ingredients

  • 500 g Lamb, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Pita bread
  • 1 cup Tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Lettuce, shredded

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine lamb, olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. 2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the lamb mixture and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. 3. Warm the pita bread in a dry skillet or in the oven.
  4. 4. Assemble the gyros by spreading tzatziki sauce on the pita bread, then adding the cooked lamb, tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce.
  5. 5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
