Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Lamb, cubed
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee or Oil
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat ghee or oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, and garam masala. Stir well.
  5. Add the cubed lamb and cook until browned on all sides.
  6. Stir in the yogurt and coconut milk. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 45 minutes or until the lamb is tender.
  8. Season with salt to taste.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
