Lamb Madras Curry Recipe
A spicy and flavorful lamb curry from South India.

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Lamb, cubed
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 1 large Onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoon Madras curry powder
- 400 ml Coconut milk
- 1 can Tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 bunch Cilantro, chopped for garnish
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
Add the garlic and ginger, cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the lamb and cook until browned on all sides.
Stir in the Madras curry powder and cook for 1 minute.
Add the chopped tomatoes, coconut milk, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the lamb is tender.
Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
