Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh fish (tilapia or sea bass), diced Make sure it's very fresh
  • 1 cup Lime juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup Cucumber, diced
  • ½ cup Red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 unit Jalapeño, finely chopped Remove seeds for less heat
  • ¼ cup Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced fish and lime juice. Make sure the fish is fully submerged in the lime juice. Let it sit for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fish turns opaque.
  2. Once the fish is 'cooked' by the lime juice, add the diced tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. Mix well.
  3. Season with salt to taste. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or on tostadas.
