Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Tenderloin
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Mushrooms finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 unit Egg beaten

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the beef tenderloin on all sides until browned.
  3. Remove beef from skillet and brush with Dijon mustard. Set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook until soft. Let cool.
  5. Roll out puff pastry and place the beef in the center. Top with mushrooms.
  6. Wrap the pastry around the beef and seal the edges. Brush with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
