Ingredients 

Burger Patty

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Soy grits
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

For Frying

  • 2 cups Vegetable oil

To Serve

  • 4 Hamburger buns
  • 1 cup Pickles, sliced
  • 1 cup Onions, chopped
  • 1 cup Mustard

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soy grits, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the patties in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Drain the patties on paper towels.
  6. Serve the patties on hamburger buns with pickles, onions, and mustard.
