  • 2 pieces Tuna steaks about 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. 3. Place the tuna steaks in the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
