Ingredients

  • 4 lbs Pork Shoulder cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Oregano dried
  • 2 teaspoon Cumin ground
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon ground
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Onion quartered
  • 2 cups Orange Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the pork chunks with salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, and cinnamon.
  3. Place the pork in a Dutch oven. Add garlic, onion, orange juice, and chicken broth.
  4. Cover and cook in the oven for about 4 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Remove the pork from the oven and shred it using two forks.
  6. Optional: For crispy edges, spread the shredded pork on a baking sheet and broil for a few minutes.
