Instructions
Pat the scallops dry with paper towels.
Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Add butter to the skillet and baste the scallops for an additional minute.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
