Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Scallops fresh or thawed
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Add butter to the skillet and baste the scallops for an additional minute.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
