Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Tuna steaks about 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels.
  2. 2. In a shallow dish, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Marinate the tuna steaks for 5 minutes on each side.
  3. 3. Spread the sesame seeds on a plate. Press each tuna steak into the seeds to coat all sides.
  4. 4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the tuna steaks for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until the sesame seeds are golden brown and the tuna is cooked to your liking.
  5. 5. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before slicing. Serve immediately.
