Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups Frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can Cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
Dumplings
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Butter cold
- ½ cup Milk
1. In the slow cooker, combine chicken broth, chicken, vegetables, cream of chicken soup, salt, and pepper.
2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
3. For the dumplings, mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until moistened.
4. Drop dumpling batter by spoonfuls onto the chicken mixture. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of dumplings comes out clean.
