Ingredients

  • 1 kg Lamb shoulder, cubed
  • 2 large Onions, quartered
  • 1 cup Dried apricots
  • 1 cup White vinegar
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large bowl, mix vinegar, sugar, curry powder, turmeric, salt, pepper, and garlic to make the marinade.
  2. 2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. 3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. 4. Thread the lamb, onions, and dried apricots onto skewers, alternating between each ingredient.
  5. 5. Grill the skewers for about 10 minutes on each side, or until the lamb is cooked to your liking.
  6. 6. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
