Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 6 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Butter melted

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder.
  4. 4. Stir in milk and melted butter to form a dough.
  5. 5. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth. Cook until dumplings are firm, about 10-15 minutes.
  6. 6. Shred the cooked chicken and return to the pot. Stir to combine and heat through.
