- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup Milk
- ¼ cup Butter melted
1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder.
4. Stir in milk and melted butter to form a dough.
5. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth. Cook until dumplings are firm, about 10-15 minutes.
6. Shred the cooked chicken and return to the pot. Stir to combine and heat through.
