- 4 fillets Catfish fresh
- 2 cups Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 4 cups Vegetable oil for frying
1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. Dip catfish fillets in buttermilk, then dredge in the cornmeal mixture.
4. Fry the fillets in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
