  • 2 pounds mussels cleaned and debearded
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bunch parsley chopped

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add white wine and bring to a boil.
  4. Add mussels, cover, and steam until mussels open, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Discard any mussels that do not open. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
