Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb shoulder, cubed
  • 2 cups white beans, soaked overnight
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the lamb. Cook until browned.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot. Cook until softened.
  3. 3. Stir in the cumin, coriander, and paprika. Cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Add the soaked white beans and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1.5 hours or until beans are tender.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
