Burger Patties
- 2 cups mushrooms finely chopped
- 1 cup black beans cooked and mashed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
1. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until they are soft.
2. Add the chopped mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked mushrooms, mashed black beans, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
5. In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are browned and cooked through.
6. Serve the patties on buns with your favorite toppings.
