Respecting Original Recipe Work
Every guide, ingredient tip, and method shared here comes from kitchens that value fresh food and firsthand prep. Recipes don’t write themselves. Behind every post is real effort—testing, tweaking, and tasting. If someone takes that work without credit, it matters.
We treat recipe writing as creative labor, just like any other content. Whether it’s a quick soup or a full seafood dinner, credit should go where it’s earned. This site follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to protect original material. We ask others to follow it too.
Reporting Content That Isn’t Yours
If your recipe, food image, or cooking notes show up here without permission, reach out. Write to our DMCA agent with details about the content in question. Be clear about what’s yours and where it appeared first. Include URLs, page titles, or screenshots if you can.
Describe how the material is being misused and explain what part of your work is affected. If more than one item is involved, list each one. Keep everything specific and tied to your actual content. We can’t process vague or incomplete reports.
What to Include in Your Complaint
Your message must state you’re the rights holder or allowed to speak for them. You also need to say the material isn’t licensed or used with permission. Add a good faith declaration and sign your name—typed is fine. Include your contact info so we can follow up.
You must also say that everything in your notice is accurate under penalty of perjury. That includes your identity, your ownership of the work, and your reason for contacting us. If your claim is incomplete, we won’t be able to act. Clear reports help everyone.
What Happens After We Receive It
Once we get a valid DMCA complaint, we review it and take action within 5 to 10 business days. We might remove or disable access to the content while we investigate. If that happens, we’ll notify the person who posted it. They have the right to respond with a counter-notice.
If you’re the one who submitted the original content, we’ll keep you updated. If you’re the one who posted the flagged material and believe it was a mistake, follow the steps below. Counter-notices must follow the same standards—clear, signed, and truthful.
Sending a Counter-Notice
If something you added to PurelyFresh.sg was removed in error, you can respond. Identify what was taken down and where it was before removal. Say that you believe it was a mistake and give your full name, mailing address, and phone number. Add a signature and agree to accept legal process if needed.
We will forward your counter-notice to the person who filed the original complaint. If they don’t take legal action within a set period, the content may be restored. We follow this process step by step for everyone.
Repeat Infringers Will Be Removed
People who keep violating copyrights will be banned from using the site. That includes anyone who reposts removed content or continues submitting copied work. No warnings will be given after the second strike. Fresh content deserves better.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this page from time to time. Edits are made when needed to protect new types of content or clarify steps in the process. Check back if something changes. Every update is written with clarity and fairness in mind.
